The Statue of Unity is the statue of Sardar Vallabhai Patel. He is prominently alluded to as the Iron Man of India. Post India's autonomy in 1947, he assumed a significant job in bringing all the then-incoherent royal states into the Union of India. As a tribute to his transcending character, the statue, the tallest statue on the planet, is appropriately called the Statue of Unity.
