Complete 3 Days Itinerary For Rann of Kutch
Day 1: Arrival in Bhuj & Local Sightseeing
We arrive at Bhuj by train or flight. Our team will arrange pickups for you.
After that, we check in at our hotel. There are options ranging from budget to premium.
Our first stop is Aina Mahal and Prag Mahal, two stunning royal palaces. Next, we visit the Smritivan Earthquake Memorial & Museum.
We can take a leisurely evening stroll around Hamirsar Lake. Finally, we’ll visit the beautiful Swaminarayan Temple.
We’ll spend the night in Bhuj, resting up for the adventures ahead.
Day 2: White Rann of Kutch & Kala Dungar
In the morning, we drive to Dhordo, which is about 80 km away. This area is home to Tent City, where the famous Rann Utsav festival takes place.
On our way, we’ll explore the charming handicraft villages of Bhujodi and Hodka. These villages are known for their unique crafts and vibrant culture.
Our next stop is Kala Dungar, also known as Black Hill. Here, we can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
In the evening, we’ll head to the White Rann for a breathtaking sunset. We can also enjoy cultural programs featuring folk music, dance, and local handicrafts.
If the timing is right, we might even get to experience the enchanting views of the full moon night.
We’ll spend the night at Tent City Dhordo or at nearby Rann resorts. Heritage Kutchi Bhungas are available for a unique stay.

Day 3: Mandvi Beach & Vijay Vilas Palace
On our final day, we drive to Mandvi Beach, which is approximately 150 km from Dhordo.
Here, we can relax and enjoy activities like camel rides and ATV biking. The local seafood is a must-try!
We’ll also visit the Vijay Vilas Palace, which has been featured in several Bollywood films.
A visit to the traditional shipbuilding yard is also on the agenda. It’s fascinating to see how these boats are crafted.
If we have time, we can opt for visits to the 72 Jinalaya Jain Temple and the Shyamji Krishna Verma Memorial.
In the evening, we’ll return to Bhuj for our departure.
